Acquisition information:

Written in Italy, presumably Florence. In this same box are two later account books of Lorenzo di Andrea di Carlo Cambini of Florence, dated 1623-1655 and 1653-1660. A part of the Corsini collection; See Collection 952, Box 1. Source and date of acquisition by UCLA are unknown.

Physical description:

Paper, ff. 192 (contemporary foliation I-CLXXXXVIII with gaps); 280 × 215 mm. 1-8 . Written in Italian cursive script by one main hand (ff. 1-99v), with later additions.

Contemporary envelope binding with three leather straps, one fastening the volume with a buckle; on the front cover: “Debitori e creditori,” “Cambini,” “A”; on the spine: “1556-1605.”
