Description
Collection includes records from the semi-annual meetings of the Association, 1889-1936; minutes of the Board of Trustees 1899-1927 (transcribed by Tom M. King, 2000); articles of incorporation and by-laws; notes on the original source; and typescripts of poetry found in Joel Bean's diaries.
Background
The College Park Association of Friends was located in San Jose, California. Joel Bean (1825-1914) was a Quaker minister and school teacher and a founder in 1889 of the College Park Association of Friends.
