Biographical / historical:

Little is known about James "Jim" Cole except that he was born in Great Britian in approximately 1815. On May 8, 1847 he filed an application stating his intent to apply for citizenship, and he was granted US citizenship on April 8, 1853 in Solano County. He later maintained real estate there.
