Biographical/Historical Sketch
The Stanford Conservation Group was a student group concerned with educating the University community about conservation,
environmental planning, and population control. They sponsored speakers, films, exhibits, and wilderness trips; published
a newsletter; and participated in public hearings on environmental issues.
