Description
This collection consists of reprints and photocopies of research articles from the School of Biological Sciences' Department
of Psychobiology, Center for Pathobiology, and Developmental Biology Center. The reprints are bound in annual volumes from
1971 to 1987 with articles arranged in alphabetical order by the surname of the first author. Volumes for the Department of
Psychobiology also contain an index that categorizes authors by faculty members, graduate students, post doctoral researchers,
visiting professors, and other collaborators.
Background
The School of Biological Sciences began as a division of the College of Arts, Letters and Sciences when the University of
California, Irvine opened in October 1965. As of 2002 the School comprises four academic departments and several additional
research units.
