Cleveland (Robert C.) papers, 1918-1990

3. Negatives, Transparencies, and Slides

Scope and content:

Negative numbers are the original numbers assigned by Cleveland. The original index to the photographs and negatives, "record book of negative numbers and jobs" can be found in box 89, folder 10. The negatives were described based on the work ledger and not from the negatives themselves. Because of this, some of the negatives listed may not actually be in the collection. Most negatives in the collection have vinegar syndrome, which emit foul fumes and make the materials problematic to work with.
