Collection consists of scripts for the television series Dallas (1978-85), possibly used for Suzy Kalter's book, The complete book of Dallas : behind the scenes of the world's favorite TV program.

Biographical / historical:

Suzy Kalter is author of The Complete Book of Dallas: Behind the Scenes of the World's Favorite TV Program, The Complete Book of M*A*S*H, and The Complete Book of Dallas: Behind the Scenes of the World's Favorite TV Program.

Dallas was created by David Jacobs for Lorimar productions and ran from 1978-1991. The program focused on the wealthy Ewing family with a major story line centered on the bitter rivalry with the Ewing and Barnes families. In the pilot episodes and the twelve seasons followed, the Ewing family remained the focus of series. The Ewing family and an assortment of relatives made their home at Southfork, the family ranch. Dallas was successful in its use of cliffhanger endings at the end of each season. The original cast included: Jim Davis, Barbara Bel Geddes, Larry Hagman, Linda Gray, Patrick Duffy, Victoria Principal, Ken Kercheval, David Wayne, Charlene Tilton, and Steve Kanaly.
