Inventory recorded by stock numbers. Information includes date of acquisition, subject, artist, dimensions, bought of, cost, sold for, date sold, to whom sold, and occasionally, remarks. If the work was unsold and remained in stock, this is usually specified in the columns of "sale....to whom" by "Stock" and year it was carried over.
