Steiner Prag, Eleanor - extensive correspondence with Mrs. Hugo Steiner Prag (nee Feisenberger) between 1942 1949. Mrs. Steiner lived with the Rudge family while she worked on a bibliography of Rudge's father's books in 1940, and at the Woodrow Wilson Memorial Library after the war. Contains correspondence regarding bibliography work (including a Aug. 27, 1942 letter from W.E.R. stating that he could no longer fund the project because of financial problems at Print, and Mrs. Steiner's 9/21/42 response indicating her intent to continue without pay), and as a contributing author for two articles in Print (one a 1942 article on the French illustrator Edy Legrand, the other a 1946 article which she helped translate regarding printing by the Dutch Underground). Also includes several personal letters regarding her financial difficulties after the war, her naturalization, and the illness and death of her artist husband. In a Sept. 14, 1942 letter, Mrs. Steiner Prag insisted that Print use her maiden name and not mention her marriage to Hugo Steiner Prag in the magazine.
