Memoirs, correspondence, and clippings relating to the Boxer Rebellion and the siege of Peking (Beijing). Includes papers of Theodora Inglis, wife of J. Inglis. Also includes medals and a printing block.

Biographical / historical:

John Inglis and Theodora Inglis worked at the American missionary at An Ting Hospital, Peking (Beijing), China, from 1898 to 1900. During their missionary work they witnessed the Siege of Peking in 1900.
