Scope and Contents note

The series contains a small number of drawings collected by Albertson. Included in the series is a caricature of Albertson with a People's Choice Award, a pencil sketch of Albertson, a photo-like drawing annotated One Nice Guy Finished Last, and a Welcome to Taos drawing. Also includes one costume sketch each for a female character in Picnic and a male character in Pompeii. Most of the items are not dated. There is no specific arrangement to the series.

Scope and Contents note

This series is comprised of joke files, on index cards, created by both Jack Albertson and Paul Hartman. The files were started as early as Albertson's burlesque days and are arranged alphabetically by topic. There is also a file of comedic sketches complete with an index. (The sketch file has been divided into two folders as preservation measure.).

Scope and Contents note

The Printed Material series is a mixture of clippings and printed ephemera collected by Albertson. The small number of clippings include a Modern Maturity article, Jack Albertson At Home; and two Los Angeles Examiner clippings related to Chico and the Man. The printed ephemera consists of a small amount of programs and other printed material, created for specific events. The series is arranged alphabetically by file titles reflecting the contents of the folders.

Scope and Contents note

The Script Files includes scripts from a number of various projects including Jack Albertson or submitted to Albertson for his consideration. The series is arranged alphabetically by project title. Projects include Ensign O'Toole, Flim Flam Man, Grandpa Goes to Washington, The Name of the Game, and Pete and Gladys, among others. There only two scripts from the television series Chico and the Man, probably Albertson's most known television role. Additionally of note is the absence of materials for the projects Days of Wine and Roses, The Posiden Adventure, and Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factor, other projects for which Albertson is known.
