Abstract: This collection comprises 16 hand-drawn
and hand-colored sketches of magazine advertisements for women's clothing and other
products, such as beach towels, hosiery, and cigarettes. The sketches were created with
various media, including pencil, ink, colored pencil, and watercolor, and are on stiff
boards. The sketches represent the integration of abstract styles, such as Cubism, Orphism,
and Synchromism, into mainstream, commercial use.
