Files relating to Isla Vista organizations and issues; correspondence (1980) and typescript draft of Adams' unpublished study Murder from Within, co-authored with Fred T. Newcomb, alleging the JFK assassination was engineered by the U.S. Secret Service; and scattered issues of newspapers, mainly of Isla Vista, Santa Barbara, and California alternative press.

Horace Perry Adams was born in Covina, California on December 18, 1938. After briefly attending the University of Buffalo in New York, he enlisted in the Army and served in Europe during the 1950s. While in France, he met his wife, Bonnie. They returned to California to be married, and Adams studied Political Science at San Jose State College. In 1965, the couple moved to Goleta, California, and soon Adams was working at the University of California Santa Barbara's Davidson Library, where he would remain for the next 29 years. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, he collaborated with Fred T. Newcomb on a book detailing their theories about the Kennedy assassination. Although the work would ultimately fail to find a publisher, the manuscript was widely circulated among conspiracy theorists, and he and Newcomb appeared in a segment on the NBC TV news magazine Inside Report in 1990. Perry Adams retired from the library in the spring of 1996 after being diagnosed with cancer. He died at his home in Goleta on March 13, 1997.
