Includes copies of outgoing correspondence from directors and other Comparative Culture professors. The files were maintained either by the directors or office assistants. The files document a wide range of activities and concerns of Comparative Culture directors and include documentation about the curriculum, programs and events, faculty research interests, and individual faculty and students. A large part of the files concern confidential matters, including faculty appointment letters, faculty and staff reviews, student recommendations, requests to correct students' status, and sabbatical and travel requests applications.
