Description
These records cover
the whole period of SRT's operations and include correspondence, graphics, photographs,

Background
The Stanford Repertory Theatre (SRT) represented an attempt to establish a professional
repertory theatre on the Stanford campus. Originally funded by the Rockefeller Foundation
with a matching grant from the University, it was phased out at the end of the grant as an
unsuccessful and expensive project.
