Description
These records cover the whole period of SRT's operations and include correspondence, graphics, photographs, production books and scrapbooks of publicity clippings.
Background
The Stanford Repertory Theatre (SRT) represented an attempt to establish a professional repertory theatre on the Stanford campus. Originally funded by the Rockefeller Foundation with a matching grant from the University, it was phased out at the end of the grant as an unsuccessful and expensive project.
