Note included with the accessioned cassette reads:
This tape is a transcription made from dictation on a dictabelt by Frank Crampton in Seoul, Korea, on June 28, 1953, after a discussion with a Colonel Livingston and a Lt. Colonel Veatch (Veach).
This tape is a part of a larger picture developed in recording of a conference in July, 1953, and a conference in August, 1953. These conferences included representatives of the Utah Construction Company and of the Korea Tungsten Company, Mr. Crampton, and in August conference, the Minister of Commerce and Industry of Korea.

Tape #1 comprises Belts 1, 2, and 3, dated July 2, 1953, by Frank Crampton's note on insert with dictabelts.
The conversation starts off abruptly with reference to a letter by Mr. Baker on the eighteenth (no month). Correspondence contains a copy of a letter by Mr. Baker dated May 18, 1953.
