The firm was a civil engineering consulting firm that did work for a number of architectural firms, engineers and goverment
agencies. In the 1970s, the firm did a significant amount of work for the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) of the City
of Los Angeles. Many of their projects were for educational institutions, but they also consulted on the construction of churches,
bus maintenance facilities, and civic centers. The firm was disolved after the death of Lorente in 1993.
