Arrangement note
One set of cards is arranged by client name and one set of cards is arranged by architect name. The log book is arranged in
job number order.
Scope and Contents note
Index cards on which Shulman logged his photography jobs. Cards usually provide architect/designer, name of building or object
photographed, the job number (a number assigned by Shulman to each photography commission), the shoot dates, and in some cases,
related job numbers. Some cards also list the client, and in a few cases, the publications in which the images were published.
Series also includes a photocopy of Shulman's logbook, used to record his photography commissions in chronological (i.e.,
job number) order. Calendars and diaries are also included here.

The arrangement of the series reflects Shulman's original order; materials are organized alphabetically by architect, then
by job number. Note that individual architects are filed by last name, while company names are filed in direct order.
Scope and Contents note
Series II contains documentation of projects by architects and architectural firms with whom Shulman worked frequently. For
ease of access, Shulman separated such material from his other work and organized it by architect rather than job number.
