In 1993, President Bill Clinton attempted to honor his promise to allow gays and lesbians to serve openly in the United States military. The series documents GLAAD's efforts in support of lifting the ban; the series consists of statements, press releases, and event planning documents.

Series Scope and Content

Agrama participated in the creation and production of the GLAAD Media Awards. This series primarily contains programs from the 1994-2000 Media Awards. The series also contains a draft script of the 1997 Los Angeles Media Awards show, written by Agrama and Michael B. Keegan, and a copy of Daily Variety Gotham celebrating the 10th anniversary of the GLAAD Media Awards. Other programs include the 2nd Annual GLAAD Fairness Awards, and the program from Congregation Kol Ami celebration honoring Peter W. Kraus, MD, Jehan Agrama, and Judge Stephen M. Lachs.
