The collection dates from Andrew Cohen's tenure on the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) Board of Directors and
consists of documents pertaining to the projects and administrative work of the District. The materials consist of meeting
minutes, reports, data, planning documents, drafts, policy, correspondence, news clippings.
Background
Andrew N. Cohen was elected to the board of directors of the East Bay Municipal Utilities District in 1991. Prior to his election
to the board Mr. Cohen sued to halt the building of a dam and reservoir near Moraga, California. He served one term and did
not run for re-election in 1994. Cohen is a consultant who writes about environmental issues.
