    Abstract: The Lux Video Theatre was a dramatic anthology television series that aired from 1950-1954 and it is believed that Bob Brooke was an audio technician for the program. The collection includes scripts and set plans for a variety of episodes created in 1955.

    Biography/History

    At the time this finding aid was created, there was no biographical information available about Bob Brooke. Based on information in the collection, it is believed that Bob Brooke was an audio technician for Lux Video Theatre.
    The Lux Video Theatre was a dramatic anthology television series that aired from 1950-1954 on CBS and 1954-1957 on NBC. It was originally a weekly radio show titled Lux Radio Theatre. The television show consisted mostly of adaptations of theatrical films for a one-hour television series. Each episode concluded with interviews of either the stars of the show or someone associated with the original film. Notable guest appearances included those by Alfred Hitchcock. Grace Kelly, Peter Lorre, Edward G. Robinson, and Esther Williams.

    Scope and Content

    The collection consists of scripts and set plans for the weekly dramatic television series, Lux Video Theatre. Some of the scripts may include script breakdowns and/or daily production schedules. It is believed the materials are related to the career of audio technician, Bob Brooke.
