Smith's "Notes on Motion in Machines," 1892. There is also one biographical clipping on the occasion of Heiner's 78th birthday, 1951.

    Biographical/Historical Sketch

    Laurence A. Heiner attended classes at Stanford University from 1891 to 1893 and again in 1898. A resident of Redwood City, California, he taught school, was employed by the U. S. Customs House, and had a real estate and insurance business.

    Description of the Collection
