In 1964, the 41st Medical Trust was established by the 41st Medical Society to support the unification of M.D.s and D.O.s
(Doctors of Osteopathy) and to support and expand the California College of Medicine. On December 31, 1983, the trust was
transferred to the UC Irvine College of Medicine where it is still used for research on musculoskeletal manipulation. This
collection comprises correspondence, reports, articles of incorporation, newsletters, rosters, financial reports and other
records documenting the establishment of the Forty-First Medical Society and Trust and its continued activities.
