Scope and content:

Collection includes several rotogravure panoramic views of San Francisco taken after the 1906 earthquake and fire. The photomechanically reproduced views were published in weekly installments in the San Francisco Examiner. The collection features a multi-part panoramic view from atop the Fairmont Hotel taken by Theodore Kytka, and other cityscape views taken at various vantage points by Kytka, the George R. Lawrence Co., et al. Image no. 2 has been annotated in ink, with several buildings and streets identified.
