Collection contains commercial photographic prints taken in San Francisco during and after the disaster of 1906. Views show fires burning, earthquake and fire damage, cityscapes, refugees and refugee camps, relief efforts, street scenes and reconstruction efforts. Locations include Mission District, Market St., City Hall and Call Building. Photographer identified in the collection include Turrill & Miller, E.A. Cohen, A. Blumberg, R.J. Waters & Co., Rieder Cardinell Co., W.J. Street, R.P. Whigham, and Charles Weidner.
