Collection includes an album of photographs, postcards, and prints from the 1906 earthquake and fire of San Francisco with captions apparently by Anna Blake Mezquida or a family member. Some show ruins of Blake family home at 808 Hyde Street, and refugee camps. Also present are postcards of the disaster and general San Francisco views. Includes late 19th and early 20th century views from numerous American locations (including Maine), miscellaneous postcards, and two sets of etchings (of scenes related to Hawthorne and Whittier) by W.B. Closson. Three views of Benicia, Calif. are present, including a carte de visite of the "Young Ladies' Seminary, 1854-8" (apparently photographed in the 1860's).
