Biographical / historical:: Blake was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota; served as an associate hydraulic engineer for the State of California in 1930s; city engineer and street superintendent of Alhambra, 1925-27; member, Alhambra City Council, 1945-56; mayor, city of Alhambra, 1961; died, 1964.
