Description
Deborah Meadows, Professor Emerita at Cal Poly Pomona, is an accomplished poet, playwright, and essayist. The collection contains journals and magazines in which Meadows' poetry has been published and other materials related to her writing.
Background
Deborah Meadows is a noted poet, playwright, essayist, and Liberal Studies Professor Emerita at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Born in 1956 to a working-class family in Buffalo, New York, Meadows graduated from SUNY, Buffalo with a degree in Philosophy and English. After graduating, Meadows performed factory work before moving to California to continue her education, earning an M.A. in English from CSU Los Angeles and an M.F.A. from Antioch University.
