from the "Birds of Europe" and "The Birds of Great Britain," published by John Gould, and printed by Taylor and Francis, London.
The lithographs from "Birds of Europe" were created between 1832-1837, and the lithographs from "Birds of Great Britain" were
created between 1862-1873. Each print is sized at 21.5 by 14.5 inches.

John Gould (1804-1881) was an English ornithologist, naturalist, and illustrator. He is considered one of the most prolific
and influential bird artists of the 19th century, and his works played a major role in the development of ornithology as a
scientific discipline.
