This file contains a hand written letter, in Spanish, by Francisco Guerrero in which he appears to be discussing the different military departments of Alta-California, Pio Pico, and the Port of Yurba Buena.

He may be Francisco Guerrero (1811-1851) who was the Mexican alcalde of Yurba (Yerba) Buena in Mexican Alta California Territory 1836 and 1839. If so, his full name is: Francisco Guerrero y Palomares. He appears to be discussing the different military departments of Alta-California, Pio Pico, and the Port of Yurba (Yerba) Buena.
