The Jim Brown Collection (1953-1963) contains 2.96 linear feet of Compton, California yearbooks. This collection of 16 yearbooks
includes the Compton College student yearbook, "The Dar-U-Gar"; Compton Senior High School yearbooks, "El Companile"; and
one yearbook from Frank L. Walton Junior High School. Some of the yearbooks presumably belonged to former students and contain
signatures and notes written to "Paul", Bob Austin, Barbara Baker, and Bill Grant.

Collection was donated with the cooperation of the Compton 125 Historical Society, 2018.
