Scope and content:

Includes approximately 200 photographs documenting the political activities of three former Taiwanese Presidents: Chiang Ching-kuo 蔣經國, C.K. Yen 嚴家淦, and Lee Teng-hui 李登輝.

Biographical / historical:

Chiu Chieh 邱傑 (Qiū Jié 邱杰) (1948-) was born in Taoyuan, Taiwan, in 1948. He worked as a journalist for the United Daily for 25 years. After retiring, he served as a senior advisor to the Taoyuan County Government. Chiu has published extensively on various subjects related to Taiwanese literature and history.
