Biographical / historical:

George Lawrence Stimson (1882-1939) was born in Washington Court House, Ohio. His family relocated to Pasadena, California in the late 1980s. He went on to study architecture in multiple cities across the US and Europe. The Wrigley Mansion on Orange Grove Boulevard, Pasadena is one of his most well-known buildings. It is locally referred to as the Tournament House, as it serves as the headquarters for the Tournament of Roses since the late 1950s.
