Correspondence, pamphlets, press releases, newsletters, flyers, contact lists, postcards, clippings, and bibliographic materials documenting the founding and subsequent activities of the Gay Task Force, founded in 1970, of the American Library Association's Social Reponsibilities Round Table.

Biographical / historical:

The Gay Task Force of the American Library Association's (ALA) newly created Social Responsibility Round Table was established in 1970 to advocate for the interests of gays and lesbians both within the library profession, and in libraries nationally.
