This collection includes production files, distribution reports, invoices and other business records related to the television
programs and motion pictures produced on the General Services Studio lot from 1919 to circa 1966.
Background
General Services Studio, also known as Hollywood Center Studios, was founded by former Charlie Chaplin associate John Jasper
in 1919 and has changed names and ownership many times throughout its history. General Services Studio provided production
and technical services for such television programs as I Love Lucy (1951-1957), and Perry Mason (1957-1966), and films including An Innocent Affair (1948), and Hell's Angels (1930).
