Photographs include an exterior shot of the factory on the title-page, and, inside, photographs of the Erecting Shop, Boiler Shop, Machine Shop, Wheel Shop, Model Motion shop, Carriage Shop, Saw Mill, Wagon Shop, Laboratory, Running Shed, a Stratford-made Passenger Train, a Goods Train, and three types of rolling stock built at the Works: locomotive, passenger car, and freight car.
