Description
Papers of Mormon pioneer William Perry Nebeker.
Background
William Perry Nebeker (1836-1910) was born on September 5, 1836 in Butler, Ohio, the son of John Nebeker and Lurena Fitzgerald. In 1847, Nebeker and his family came west to Utah. In 1870 Nebeker married Sarah Ivins McKean (1849-1880). They settled in Laketown, located in the northern part of Utah near Bear Lake. Sarah Nebeker died in 1880 and Nebeker married Phoebe Stafford Tingey in 1885. Nebeker died in Salt Lake City in 1910.
