The CSRM Postcard Collection contains about 15,000 postcards depicting railroads primarily of the United States and Canada,
railroad related subjects and is dated between 1905 and the 1970's.
Besides being a form of correspondence, postcards were bought for the scenes and events that were important at the time. The
collection has been developed by donations from individuals who believed the cards had relevance to railroads and railroading,
as well as other subjects throughout the United States.
