Scope and Contents
Duncan McNaughton is an American poet, scholar, cultural critic, small press editor, and a founder/publisher of several seminal
magazines. McNaughton also established the Poetics Program at the New College of California in San Francisco and directed
the program from its opening in 1965 until 1990. The Collection contains manuscripts, notebooks, correspondence, and material
concerning the New College.
