Description
The Donal Michalsky Music Composition Archives consists of manuscripts, publications, original scores and working papers of Dr. Michalsky, composer and a founding faculty member of the music department at California State University, Fullerton.
Background
He was born on July 13, 1928, studied at the University of Southern California, and was a student of Ingolf Dahl.He was the recipient of the BMI and ASCAP Composer's Award for several years. He died in a fire on January 1, 1976.
