Papers of Richard Tagett (1936-2024), a poet who founded (with Paul Mariah) Manroot magazine in 1969. The collection includes correspondence with friends and other poets spanning the 1970s through the 2000s, including a large cache of postcards from Hunce Voelcker; individual poems and chapbooks by Tagett and others; Tagett’s notebooks from the 2000s; photographs of artwork by Tagett’s lover José Laffite; and personal files.
