The Gary Greenberg collection contains personal letters, slides, photographs, and travel ephemera.
Correspondence with individuals often spans several years and tend to be from lovers or admirers between the years of 1967-1975. Letters were sent to Greenberg from around the United States and Europe.
The collection also contains slides and photographic prints. These photographs document events with friends, pride parades in San Francisco and Los Angeles, the 1984 Olympics, nudes and travel photos.
The collection also contains ephemera from Greenberg's travels to Boston, Catalina, Palm Springs, Acupulco, Fiji, Austrailia, Rome, Greece, Hawaii, Paris and London. Maps, tickets, fliers and museum information are also in the collection.
