    Biographical / Historical

    Leslie Grimes Moser was a flight attendant for Capitol International Airways in 1969. Capitol Airways, a charter airline from the United States, was founded by former Army Air Corps pilots following the end of World War II. The airline maintained a large presence in the eastern United States and Europe, using primarily McDonnell Douglas DC-8 jets. Capitol Airways declared bankruptcy in the mid-1980’s after the new owner dismantled the airline for his new venture: another charter airline becoming a scheduled airline.

    Scope and Contents

    The collection is comprised of personal photographs, correspondence, and newspaper clippings during the employment of Leslie Grimes Moser at Capital International Airways during the late 1960s.
