Two rebellions are covered in the scope of the materials: the Attica Prison Rebellion of 1971 and the Los Angeles Rebellion of 1992. A majority of the materials are newspapers, however there are magazines, an education trade publication, and an early academic study of the Rodney King Rebellion present as well.
