The John and Faith Hubley animation cels span the years circa 1959-1974 and encompass 2 linear feet. The collection consists of eight cels for five films, including two for MOONBIRD.

Biographical / historical:

John Hubley was an American animator active in film from 1945 to 1985. He worked for Walt Disney, UPA, and his own company, Storyboard Productions. He earned Academy Awards for three animated shorts, including MOONBIRD (1959). Faith Hubley, his wife and frequent collaborator, earned Academy Awards for two animated shorts she co-produced with her husband.
