- Valerie Post (Mrs. Lauren C. Post) was a singer and voice teacher. Early in her career she was known as Valeria Postnikova. At one time she was President of the San Diego Light Opera Association. She was born in Russia in 1904 and died in San Diego at the age of 89. The date and donor of the collection is unknown, although it is thought that it was donated to the library after 1984 by Valerie Post herself.
