    Abstract: The collection contains newspaper clippings, small booklets and publications, and newsletters and newspapers from the World War II era. Topics include the United Autoworkers Union, opinions for the United States to remain out of WWII, pro-Nazi publications, J. Robert Oppenheimer, United States government security and information commissions, the Socialist Labor Party, and the Council for Civic Unity. A large portion of this collection is the News from Germany publication and its supplements, American Views and British News and Views". These publications are pro-Nazi newsletters issued by H.R. Hoffmann (Starnberg/Bavaria, Germany) with articles and editorial letters presenting "reasons for Germany's present political attitude.
