Series V. Receiving and shipping records consists of receipts, logs, and other records concerning the shipping of artwork from Europe and within the United States, including works received and examined but not acquired by M. Knoedler & Co. The bulk of the records concerns works received and sent by the New York office from 1893 to 1988. Also included are a small file related to the London office, and for the years 1929-1932, documentation regarding the firm's office in Chicago.
