The Lesbian and Gay Aging Issues Network (LGAIN) was the LGBT interest group of the American Society on Aging (ASA), a San Francisco-based national membership association for professionals in the field of aging. The collection contains administrative records; board materials; correspondence; grant proposals; media outreach files and coverage of LGAIN; membership materials; newsletter editorial and production files; materials related to other professional organizations, including newsletters from other LGBT senior groups; subject files, including articles and resources on aging, healthcare, housing, and long-term care; and ASA conference materials, including audio recordings of sessions.
