Background

Scope and content:

This small, artificial collection contains five film stills and eleven publicity photographs of actors and actresses from the 1920s and the 1930s. Films include "Another Language" (1933), with Robert Montgomery and Helen Hayes, and actors include Warner Baxter. Titles of films were determined by identifying the actors and actresses in the films; publicity portrait photographs usually bore the name of the actor or actress.
